Ropax Terminal Meets with Cruise Lines

As the cruise season is coming to the end, the Freeport of Riga Authority organised a meeting with cruise line representatives, both for cruise lines that have already visited Riga and for potential partners. Naturally, Riga Ropax Terminal Ltd also presented the ROPAX project, providing update on the status of the project and planned activities.

Notably, more than half of the represented cruise lines are currently considering Riga as a potential destination for new routes, appreciating not only its Art Nouveau architecture but also the variety of weather and seasons. Given that the ROPAX project is scheduled for the completion by 2030, when the new terminal could begin operations, the cruise lines believe now is the right time to start developing collaboration models.

SIA "Riga Ropax Terminal" hopes to see soon Riga included in the itineraries of cruise lines that currently do not include the city in their routes.
