The Local Plan is put out for public consultation

On February 8th, the Riga City Council passed a decision to submit the improved version of the local plan for the southern part of Eksportosta for public consultation.

The main objectives of local plan are to allow for independent reception of passenger ships at the Eksportosta, as well as to define the requirements for the use and improvement of the surrounding area, which includes organizing an architectural competition to determine the best design of a new passenger and ro-ro cargo terminal building. This means that we are one step closer to a new passenger and ro-ro cargo terminal in Riga.

The public consultation will run from 21 February to 20 March.
