One month to submit sketches

On 18 December 2023, Riga Ropax Terminal launched a call for proposals for the vision of the new Ropax terminal and the adjacent area.

As a reminder, according to the local plan for the southern part of the Export port approved by the Riga City Council, at least three participants have to be invited to the architectual competition. The foreign architects and design firms selected as invited participants in this competition are R-Konsult (Estonia), Berenblum Architects (USA) and Ala Arxhitects (Finland). Several other interested parties from Latvia and abroad have also expressed interest in participating in the competition.

The deadline for the submission of the sketch designs is 25 March 2024. The evaluation of the proposals and the announcement of the results is planned by mid-May 2024.
